Job summary

Eden Girls' School, Coventry, part of Star Academies, is seeking a dedicated support professional to help young people in a disadvantaged community. The role focuses on tailored pupil support to foster an outstanding learning environment and strong student progress.

The successful candidate will work across one-to-one and group settings, collaborating with staff to maximise learning outcomes and behaviour management. Applications closing soon.

Qualifications

  • Five GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Practical experience of working with children within an educational setting.
  • Experience of supporting children within a school context.
  • Ability to work one-to-one, in small groups and with whole classes.
  • Ability to plan own role in lessons including feedback to students and colleagues.

Eden Girls' School, Coventry is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for girls, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:
