Job summary

Elysium Health care is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join Badby Park, Daventry, on a 22.5 hour per week contract. You will manage a diverse caseload, assess and treat communication and swallowing difficulties including tracheostomy care, with autonomy and multidisciplinary support.

The role offers structured supervision, ongoing professional development and opportunities to contribute to service development within a highly specialist neurological rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
• Experience of working with families.
• Evidence of continuing Professional Development.

Responsibilities

• Manage own highly specialist caseload with autonomous practice and appropriate support.
• Assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing difficulties, including tracheostomy communication and dysphagia management.
• Lead on training, supervision and development of therapy assistants and colleagues where appropriate.
