Job summary

Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to contribute to the head and neck caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings, including dedicated clinics.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, provide supervision where appropriate, and help train other MDT members, supporting high-quality care for patients and families in a large hospital setting.

Job description

This post is based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. The post holder will be participating in:

• Contributing to the H&N caseload, providing assessment, therapy and management plans to service users and their families. This will be across inpatient and outpatients, with outpatients being individual SLT clinics, as well as H&N and radiotherapy MDT clinics.
• Working as part of a team.
• Providing supervision and support to other members of the team, where appropriate.
• Contributing to training for other members of the MDT, in relevant areas.
