We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a dynamic Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly team at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM). We also welcome applications from experienced Band 5 therapists who are completing dysphagia competencies.
The post is based at Royal Stoke University Hospital and involves working collaboratively with wider teams across several disciplines on the acute wards. Our goal is to provide an excellent standard of care with patient welfare at the heart of our work.
The post holder will provide Speech and Language Therapy services across the inpatient settings of Royal Stoke and County Hospital. This dynamic post requires managing a varied caseload, including dysphagia and communication disorders, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in addressing care/support issues across various conditions, facilitating safe early discharge and improving health and wellbeing.
