NHS Professionals Limited is recruiting a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Adult SLT Department at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Stoke Mandeville Hospital. You will manage an independent clinical caseload for adults with acute swallowing and communication difficulties, including FEES and Videofluoroscopy, within ED and front-door services.

Formación

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
• RCSLT membership.
• Postgraduate dysphagia qualification or equivalent.
• Significant acute SLT experience, including acute medicine and ENT.
• Experience with complex dysphagia and communication needs; knowledge of VFS and FEES.

Responsabilidades

• Independently assess and treat complex adult swallowing and communication disorders using advanced expertise.
• Conduct instrumental assessments such as FEES and coordinate investigations with MDT.
• Provide specialist advice to colleagues, patients and carers and contribute to audits and service development.
• Lead and mentor junior SLTs, supervise student placements and support CPD within the team.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance, safety, and documentation in line with professional guidelines.
