Job summary

Treloar School and College in Alton is seeking a Specialist SEND Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching for students on the Skills for Life Curriculum. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will create engaging learning experiences that promote communication, independence, wellbeing and preparation for adulthood.

You will teach students working towards greater independence and work-based outcomes, with a curriculum tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

Must be a passionate and skilled teacher with QTS/QTLS or equivalent.
Experience of working with students with physical, learning and communication difficulties.
Committed to helping students reach their full potential.
Experience using the sensory environment to facilitate learning.
Experience delivering the curriculum outside of the classroom (community settings).
Innovative and creative approach.
