Axcis Education is seeking a Qualified Primary or Secondary Teacher (QTS) to work in a specialist SEND school in Tewkesbury. You will support secondary pupils working towards the primary curriculum, tailoring teaching to individual EHCP goals.

Both supply and permanent roles are available, with a pay scale aligned to experience. The role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for pupils with SEND and to develop your SEND teaching expertise with dedicated staff.

Qualifikationen

• QTS with SEND experience.
• Experience working with EHCPs and pupils with additional needs.
• Strong behaviour management and ability to maintain a calm, structured learning environment.
• Ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with staff and families.

Aufgaben

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned to the primary curriculum for secondary-aged pupils.
• Support pupils with EHCP outcomes and targets.
• Differentiate activities to meet individual learning needs.
• Establish routines and positive behaviour for engagement.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs and therapists.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching approaches as required.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
• Contribute to reviews of pupil progress and EHCP outcomes.
