Job summary

Swift Referrals in Wetherby (part of Inspiring Vet Care) is seeking a residency-trained veterinary surgeon to join a multidisciplinary referral team. You will work across soft tissue, neurology and orthopaedic surgery, with opportunities to specialise, mentor colleagues and participate in CPD.

The role offers a four-day week, a shared on-call rota, and a collaborative hospital environment designed to support clinical excellence and professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with RCVS registration.
• Residency-trained or board-certified (ECVS/ACVS) or equivalently experienced.
• Experience at referral level in soft tissue, neurology, or orthopaedics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied referral caseload across soft tissue, neurology and/or orthopaedic surgery.
• Deliver advanced surgical procedures and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary referral environment.
• Provide clinical advice to referring practices and support colleagues.
