Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking an experienced Band 7 Specialist Safeguarding Practitioner to join our safeguarding team. You will support staff, lead safeguarding enquiries, and contribute to safeguarding policy and practice across the organisation.

• Support vulnerable people, autistic people, and people with learning disabilities to identify reasonable adjustments, and work with their clinical teams improve their patient's experience.
• Promote a culture where safeguarding is everyone's responsibility

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Band 7 Specialist Safeguarding Practitioner to join our dedicated safeguarding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered healthcare professional who is passionate about protecting children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and promoting excellent safeguarding practice across our organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality safeguarding services, ensuring compliance with national legislation, statutory guidance, and local safeguarding arrangements., As a Specialist Safeguarding Practitioner, you will:
