Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Podiatry role to join the largest podiatry service in Scotland. Base location NHSGGC with engagement across NHS Scotland, 36 hours per week across a Monday–Friday pattern.

The role focuses on triage, assessment and treatment for diverse patient groups, with strong emphasis on rehabilitation and person-centred care. Interviews are held in-person on a specified date.

Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

The role:

We are looking for highly motivated individuals seeking a new opportunity to join the largest Podiatry Service in Scotland.

The Podiatry Service aims to deliver high-quality care to patients and their carers through the provision of triage, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to a diverse range of conditions and patient groups across a variety of environments. The service is patient-centred and needs-led, with clinical assessment and diagnosis informing management plans tailored to individual patient needs. There is a strong focus on rehabilitation, with self-care elements incorporated into treatment plans where appropriate.

All other roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

Permanent, Full-time - 36 Hours

Shift Pattern - Monday, Tuesday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm; Wednesday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.00 pm
