Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an experienced Senior Facilitator to design and deliver engaging training programmes across clinical and non-clinical staff, supporting digital change and new systems.

Based at Paisley, this full-time permanent role offers opportunities to build relationships with managers and frontline teams, develop blended learning resources, and contribute to a supportive, innovative digital workforce.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience developing and delivering training programmes within a public or private service environment.
  • Educated to diploma or degree level in a relevant subject or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and practical experience.
  • Experience of creating and delivering eLearning and blended learning solutions using a range of digital tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a wide variety of audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and build positive working relationships that support service improvement and digital adoption.
  • ITIL Foundation qualification or experience of supporting digital systems within healthcare environments would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging training programmes for staff using a variety of learning methods
  • Develop and maintain high-quality training materials, guidance documents and digital learning resources
  • Support the implementation of new digital systems by providing user training, readiness activities and ongoing support
  • Build strong relationships with managers, clinicians, ward champions, super users and key stakeholders to encourage adoption of digital solutions
  • Develop assessment and evaluation processes to measure learning outcomes and continuously improve training delivery
  • Coordinate training schedules, resources, records and logistics to ensure a responsive and effective service
  • Work closely with system administrators, project teams and support services to ensure training remains aligned with system developments and organisational priorities

Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Services Directorate within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Senior Facilitator. This is a rewarding role for an experienced training professional who is passionate about supporting staff to embrace digital change and develop confidence in using technology to enhance patient care. Working across acute, community and interface services, you will design and deliver engaging training programmes, helping colleagues to adopt new systems and ways of working. Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
  • Full Time, Permanent
  • You will be based at Smithhills Street, Paisley, PA1 1EB
  • Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 09:00 am - 17:00 pm and Friday 09:00 am - 15:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging training programmes for clinical and non-clinical staff using a variety of learning methods
