We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated experienced Podiatrist to join our friendly team within NELFT.
Our Podiatry Department is forward-thinking, busy, and provides services within Havering and Barking and Dagenham. The population served is multicultural and diverse.
A car is essential for this role.
The client base is primarily high-risk, and you will be responsible for treatment planning for foot complications related to diabetic, rheumatoid, and vascular/ischaemic long-term conditions.
We are committed to CPD and training initiatives to achieve personal and service objectives.
Opportunities include developing a special clinical interest through rotation into areas such as Wound care, Biomechanics, and Nail Surgery.
We support training of Podiatry students and are involved in a clinical educator programme with the University of East London.
If you work well under pressure, enjoy assessing and treating high-risk patients with challenging foot problems, and have excellent communication skills, this role is suitable for you!
The post holder will be responsible for general podiatric services, acting as a Podiatrist in NELFT, and providing community and domiciliary services mainly in Barking & Dagenham and Havering, with potential to work elsewhere within NELFT.
Provide evidence-based comprehensive assessments and diagnoses, support the team by delivering general and high-risk podiatry care, and provide training and education to promote foot care and self-care, including falls prevention.
Probationary Period
High Cost Area Supplement – London: This post attracts a 15% supplement of the basic salary (minimum £4,551, maximum £5,735).
