Job summary

The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, part of Circle Health Group, is recruiting a Specialist Nurse in Plastics. The role covers pre- and post-operative care for reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, working within a multidisciplinary team across the patient pathway.

You will provide expert clinical knowledge, patient education, and ongoing support, managing complex cases such as cancer-related reconstruction or elective aesthetics. This is a full-time position with a flexible shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Level 7 qualification in the relevant specialty area.
• Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality care within plastics nursing.
• Support assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of complex patients.
• Provide education and counselling to patients and families.
• Collaborate with consultants, GPs, and allied health professionals for integrated care.
• Lead or support audits and quality improvement projects.
