You will prioritise daily caseloads, provide specialist advice, and act as a leader within the team and organisation.

• Provide specialist advice to therapy staff and multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver high-quality assessment, treatment, and management plans.
• Supervise and participate in clinical and management supervision (Preceptorship).
• Contribute to service improvements and quality initiatives.
• Utilise Trust electronic patient record system and contribute to CGA processes.

Job description

The Rapid Assessment Therapy Service (RATS) are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and driven individual to join the team. The individual must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills to support developing the service, to provide high quality, timely therapy assessment and interventions at the front door.
As a Senior Physiotherapist you will provide assessment, treatment and management advice for patients within the therapy team, covering all front door areas; including prioritising/managing the daily caseload within the team, assessing and delivering therapy interventions, ensuring the highest professional standards of care are maintained, demonstrating adherence to the Trust Values and operating as a leader in the team, service and organisation.

• To be a team member contributing to the delivery of therapy services across the Rapid Assessment Therapy Service (RATS) Team, alongside the senior leadership team.
• To provide specialist advice to therapy staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team and wider team.
• To use a client-centred approach to patient care.
• To participate in and provide clinical and management supervision and provide support through the Preceptorship program.
• To contribute to multi-disciplinary team working.
• To contribute to and lead on service improvement and quality initiatives.
• To use the Trust electronic patient record system.
• To contribute to Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments.
• To abide by all Trust policies and procedures.
• To be able to respond flexibly and creatively to challenges.
