You’ll work within a specialist multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care to patients referred from GP practices, Gynaecology & Urology services, Obstetric & Colorectal Consultants, Specialist Nurses, and Midwives.
Essential experience: Musculoskeletal physiotherapy and ward-based working.
Women’s Health experience is desirable — but not essential.

Interviews for this role will be conducted in person to assess relevant skills effectively.
As a specialist physiotherapist working with the women’s and men’s health physiotherapy team you will have an outpatient caseload of women’s health patients; such as pelvic girdle pain, gynae and breast cancer patients. You will also work on the wards alongside our experienced band 4’s offering advice and exercises to women post-partum, or post-breast cancer surgery.
To demonstrate women’s health physiotherapy skills to manage patients referred to the service working in accordance with individual performance metrics
To ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of patient focussed care in line with identified evidence-based practice, local and national standards
To work collaboratively within Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency Teams
To participate in delegated projects for service development with the team
To act autonomously in the assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality
To demonstrate a flexible approach to working in support of the whole in patient/outpatient team
To be available to provide Clinical Supervision
To guide support staff in the management and delivery of therapeutic care plans
