Job summary

Active Neuro, part of Active Care Group, is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist for the Nottingham Brain Injury and Neurological Care Centre. You will assess and treat adults with complex brain injuries and neurological conditions, including respiratory care and tracheostomy management, within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work across NHS, private, and medicolegal pathways with a strong emphasis on patient-centred goals and long-term outcomes.

Qualifications

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with post-registration neurorehabilitation experience.
  • Experience in complex neurological rehabilitation including brain injury and polytrauma.
  • Demonstrates patient-centred, outcome-focused care and MDT collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert assessment and evidence-based physiotherapy for patients with complex neurological conditions (TBI, stroke, SCI).
  • Deliver specialist respiratory and tracheostomy care as part of rehabilitation.
  • Contribute to planning and implementing physiotherapy programmes and QoL goals.
  • Utilise advanced rehabilitation technologies to enhance outcomes.
  • Support service development and clinical guidelines; mentor junior staff.
