Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our neurological rehabilitation teams in Leicester. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ postgraduate experience, HCPC registration, and a full UK driving license.

You will work across Kingly House and Kingly Terrace sites, with a focus on delivering comprehensive rehabilitation programmes. You will be supported by experienced senior staff, with protected CPD time and opportunities for development within our extensive care

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and eligibility to practise in the UK.
• Postgraduate experience in neurological rehabilitation (2 years).
• Ability to work across sites and coordinate therapy timetables.
• Good communication with clients, families and colleagues.
• DBS check as part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and manage neurology-based mobility and function.
• Coordinate therapeutic timetables and programmes with the team.
• Document assessments, treatments and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support client goals and family needs.
• Communicate effectively with clients with cognitive or communication challenges.

We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive teams in Leicester. This will be working at our Kingly House and Kingly Terrace Neurological Rehabilitation services. We’re looking for a dedicated professional with at least 2 years’ experience who is motivated to work across all areas of neurological rehabilitation. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic service that provides life-changing outcomes for our clients.

What you'll be working:

This role is 22.5 hours, 3 days a week.

We understand the need for a positive work, life balance and would be happy to discuss flexible working for the right candidate. Additionally, a travel allowance may be available to support commuting between the sites.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide assessment, treatment, and management of challenges to physical abilities
• Function as a key therapist to ensure active co-ordination and management of the therapeutic timetables and programmes to achieve the client’s agreed rehabilitation goals
• Ensure accurate documentation of assessment, treatment, and outcome measures
• Be a great team player and be willing to go that extra mile for your clients and their family
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with people with cognitive impairment and communication difficulties
• Liaise with family, carers, and significant others where appropriate to ensure client’s needs are met to a high standard
• You will be supported by experienced and skilled senior staff, and have protected training, CPD and peer support time within your job

What you'll have:

• HCPC registration
• 2 years’ postgraduate work experience
• Full UK Driving License and access to a car
• Experience of working within a neurological rehabilitation setting
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
