Are you passionate about education, development, and making a difference across pharmacy services? We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician – Education & Training to join our team and play a vital role in nurturing the growth of our non-registered pharmacy workforce.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Lead Pharmacy Technician for Education & Training, acting as their deputy and supporting the coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of training for all non-registered pharmacy staff, including assistants and technicians, across the department.

The Specialist Technician - Training & Education will be the line manager for Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians (PTPTs). The post holder will be supported by the Lead Pharmacy Technician – Education and Training to deliver and maintain the highest standards of training within the department which will in turn lead to an exceptional pharmacy service delivered to the hospital.
The post holder will support the effective management of the initial education and training (IET) for Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants, including the Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians, Level 2 qualifications for Pharmacy Assistants and to maintain oversight of the extended roles of Pharmacy Technicians, including ACPT, Educational Supervisors, MOPT etc.
