Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is recruiting a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the REACH Clacks and Stirling Team. You will deliver rehabilitation in the community, manage a varied caseload across home visits, assess and treat, and support independent living.

Based at Stirling Health and Care Village with travel across Clackmannanshire and Stirling HSCP; the role involves supervision of junior staff, TAPs and students, and contributing to governance and service development.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
• Experience in community rehabilitation and discharge planning.
• Ability to supervise junior staff, TAPs and students.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied community caseload including home visits.
• Carry out assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning.
• Support supervision and development of junior staff, TAPs and students.
• Contribute to Clinical Governance, research and service development.
• Work autonomously and in MDT with travel across the area.
