Job summary

Flame Health Optometry in Milton Keynes is recruiting a qualified Optometrist for a specialist private eye care clinic. The role offers full-time or part-time hours with a salary up to £70,000 depending on experience, and opportunities to expand clinical practice beyond routine sight testing.

You will examine patients across refractive and cataract pathways, support ophthalmology teams, and benefit from modern diagnostic technology and ongoing CET/ development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Strong clinical standards and excellent communication are essential.
• Patient-first approach with ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct essential and advanced eye examinations across specialist care.
• Support patients before and after refractive and cataract surgery.
• Provide clinical support to Ophthalmologists and MDT teammates.
• Engage in training for refractive and cataract procedures when needed.
