Job summary

Flame Health Optometry has been instructed to recruit a qualified, GOC-registered Optometrist for a role in Northamptonshire, offering a salary of £65,000-£70,000 depending on experience. Working four or five days per week, including Saturdays, this position suits an Optometrist who combines sound clinical judgement with a commitment to patient care and professional development.

You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations within 25-minute test slots, advise on spectacle and contact lens

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council.
• Newly qualified and experienced practitioners are welcome.
• Willingness to participate in CPD and, where applicable, pre-registration supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations within 25-minute test slots.
• Advise customers on spectacle and contact lens options suited to their needs.
• Build lasting patient relationships and ensure a positive experience at every visit.
• Support service delivery and contribute to local enhanced service schemes where applicable.
