Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a Specialist Optometrist to join the ophthalmology team at Dr Gray’s in Elgin. The role involves undertaking Intravitreal injections and working within a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.

The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of Intravitreal Injection following a well-established training protocol on site, with final sign off in ARI. Sessions are currently Mondays and Thursdays, up to 8.5 hours.

Qualifications

• Registered optometrist with clinically relevant experience.
• Experience with intravitreal injections is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform intravitreal injections within ophthalmology under established protocols.
• Collaborate with the ophthalmology team to support patient care.
• Attend sessions as scheduled (currently Mondays and Thursdays).
