Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Norris Green CMHT Hub. The role focuses on specialist assessment and treatment for individuals with complex mental health needs within the community, contributing to ongoing recovery and independence.

The post is an 18-month fixed term/secondment Band 6 position, integral to a multidisciplinary team. Informal visits or calls are welcome to gain more information from the team manager/OT.

You will be contributing to the high quality assessment and treatment for people living with mental illness , facilitating interventions and support on-going recovery.

Main duties of the job

To deliver specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment interventions for an identified group of people/caseload.

To support core duties of the Community Mental Health Team.

The post holder will contribute to effective MDT working supporting people in the community.
