Job summary

The post holder will provide nursing input into the eating disorders day treatment service, working with the MDT to monitor and deliver specialist nursing care for patients with diagnosed eating disorders. They will support those stepped up from community services and those stepping down from inpatient settings to aid reintegration.

• Nurse with relevant registration and scope to provide mental health nursing input.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nursing assessments for eating disorders in the day treatment service.
• Run physical health monitoring clinics and plan and implement care.
• Respond to crises and maintain patient records.
• Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions to maximise recovery and independence.
• Supervise other staff if required.
• Work within the organisation’s agile working policy.
