Job summary

Randstad Student & Worker Support is seeking reliable individuals to provide Specialist Notetaking support for Northumbria University students living with disabilities. The role is part-time with flexible hours and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour plus accrued holiday pay.

As a Specialist Notetaker, you will produce accurate notes for lectures and seminars, review them for accessibility, and maintain a professional relationship with learners while following university policies.

Qualifications

• Strong typing ability for accurate note-taking in lectures, seminars and group tasks.
• Excellent spelling and grammar to ensure clear notes for students.
• Punctuality and reliability to meet academic schedules and deadlines.
• Strong time management to handle fast-paced class environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and legible notes for lectures, seminars/tutorials and group tasks.
• Review notes after lectures to ensure accessibility for the student.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the student and adhere to institutional policies.
