Job summary

Speech and Language Therapist sought to join a specialist neurorehabilitation service in Basingstoke, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, stroke and progressive neurological conditions. HCPC registered SLTs will deliver high-quality, person-centred therapy within a supportive team across Basingstoke and surrounding towns.

Applicants must hold HCPC registration, a SLT degree, and experience in neurorehabilitation; eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship is

Qualifications

• HCPC-approved Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
• Current and unrestricted HCPC registration.
• Experience in specialist neurological care or neurorehabilitation.
• Experience assessing and diagnosing communication and swallowing disorders.
• Ability to develop person-centred therapy programmes.
• Experience supporting complex communication needs.
• Experience supporting swallowing and modified diets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, proactive, person-centred approach.
• Ability to manage a diverse and demanding caseload.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred SLT services in a specialist neurorehabilitation environment.
• Support adults with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, stroke, dementia and progressive neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Basingstoke and surrounding areas.
