Job summary

Meadow View Neurological Centre in Basingstoke seeks a Speech and Language Therapist to provide specialist assessment and intervention for adults with complex neurological conditions, supporting communication, cognition and swallowing. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation programmes.

Your caseload may include stroke, brain injury, progressive conditions and other neuro needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
• Experience with adults with neurological conditions, including stroke or brain injury.
• Experience with complex neuro needs and AAC is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention for adults with complex neurological conditions.
• Develop and deliver personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation programmes with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assess and manage communication, cognitive-communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Educate families, carers and professionals to support ongoing rehabilitation.
