An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 physiotherapist looking for the next step in their career to join the Musculoskeletal Service at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust as a Band 6 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. CLCH is one of the largest community trusts.
The successful candidate must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
Main duties of the job
- Be professional, legally responsible, and accountable for all aspects of your work, including patient management.
- Ensure high-quality clinical care for patients and support peers to do the same.
- Provide an equitable service for all patients, including hard-to-reach groups.
- Undertake comprehensive patient assessments using investigative and analytical skills.
- Recognize your professional limitations and seek support through supervision, peer discussions, and team case reviews.
- Apply appropriate assessment and treatment techniques based on evidence, guidelines, and departmental policies.
- Demonstrate compassion and sensitivity, providing suitable care for patients with complex presentations, including victims of torture and mental health patients.
- Refer patients to other health agencies as needed, ensuring seamless multidisciplinary care, which may include joint assessments.

Person Specification
Education/Qualification
- BSc Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
- Evidence of ongoing professional and personal development.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Membership of a specialist group.
- Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) membership.
Experience
- Experience working in an outpatient department.
- Experience within an NHS environment.
- Experience managing a wide range of patient conditions.
- Research project experience at undergraduate level.
- Experience at Band 6 level.
Skills & Knowledge
- Effective manual physiotherapy skills for neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
- Working towards or holding a full Masters qualification (M level).
- Knowledge of NICE guidelines and NSF standards.

Salary: £42,939 to £50,697 per annum, inclusive of HCAS.
