Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 physiotherapist looking for the next step in their career to join the Musculoskeletal Service at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust as a Band 6 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. CLCH is one of the largest community trusts.

The successful candidate must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Being professional, legally responsible, and accountable for all aspects of your work, including patient management.
  2. Ensuring high-quality clinical care and supporting peers.
  3. Providing equitable services for all patients, including hard-to-reach groups.
  4. Conducting comprehensive patient assessments using investigative and analytical skills.
  5. Recognizing professional limitations and seeking support through supervision and team discussions.
  6. Applying appropriate assessment and treatment techniques based on evidence, guidelines, and policies.
  7. Demonstrating compassion, empathy, and sensitivity, especially for patients with complex presentations.
  8. Referring patients to other health agencies as needed for seamless care, including joint assessments.
