Job summary

NHS Scotland in Fife seeks an HCPC registered Physiotherapist to provide clinical and non-clinical leadership within the MSK physiotherapy service. You will manage a specialist-level clinical caseload and help develop outpatient musculoskeletal services.

You may work across Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, St Andrews and Cupar, with travel within the Fife region as needed; you will be supported by experienced advanced practice physiotherapists and a Consultant Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

Job description

We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic HCPC registered Physiotherapist to provide clinical and non clinical leadership within our MSK physiotherapy service.

You will be expected to carry a clinical caseload at specialist level and be actively involved in influencing and implementing outpatient musculoskeletal clinical/operational development. You will receive support in this role from the operational and clinical lead therapists.

You may be based at various sites within the Fife wide MSK Physiotherapy service, and provide some clinical leadership to the local team as well as contributing to the priorities of the wider MSK Physiotherapy team. Whilst the majority of the service is based around the Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline areas, flexibility to travel around the Fife area is required depending on the need. We have excellent facilities in St Andrews and Cupar.

You must have an excellent knowledge base regarding the management of musculoskeletal conditions and previous experience at in an MSK post at band 5 or specialist level. Experience of teaching and/or supervising less experienced staff, students and Healthcare Support Workers is essential. You will be motivated, possess excellent communication skills and have a willingness to be an active team player.
