NHSGGC is seeking a permanent Band 6 Specialist Mental Health Nurse for CAMHS based at Greenock Health and Care Centre. You must have RMN/RNLD with current NMC registration and experience with children and young people. PVG/Disclosure checks apply and live NMC pin is required.
The role involves leading specialist care, coordinated caseloads, risk assessment, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes for children and families.

This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent Band 6 Specialist Mental Health Nurse to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service ( CAMHS) based at Greenock Health and Care Centre, Inverclyde. The candidate must have a First level Registered Mental Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with NMC Registration. Relevant post-registration experience of working with children and/or young people (and their families/carers) with a range of mental health/ learning disability and neuro-developmental difficulties is advantageous. Candidates must have an ability to work independently using own initiative and without direct supervision. They must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills and demonstrate a positive attitude towards children and young people alongside an understanding of children and young people’s mental health and developmental needs.
