Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Skye House CAMHS inpatient team. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to children and young people aged 12-17 experiencing acute mental health difficulties, within a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification with current NMC registration.
• Strong leadership skills and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

The role:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Skye House team within an inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). This is a vital role within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people experiencing acute mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and reflective team that values professional development, staff wellbeing and collaborative working. All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

Fixed-term, Various hours available

1x Full-time post 36 hours, 1x Part-time post 14.4 hours

Shift pattern - Full-time post: Monday- Friday 09:00 am- 5:00 pm; Part-time post: Tuesday and Thursday 09.00 am 5:00 pm

Base location - Stobhill Hospital - Skye House AIPU

Key responsibilities:

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
