Job summary

Trafford Council is seeking a Specialist Social Worker (Homelessness) to join the Adults Support & Prevention Hub. You will support adults who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness, using trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches to improve wellbeing.

Based in Trafford's Housing Options Service, you will work with Adult Social Care and partners to deliver coordinated care, manage complex cases, and drive positive outcomes for individuals and communities.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Social Work Qualification (CQSW, CSS, DipSW, Degree in Social Work) and be registered with Social Work England.
• Experience delivering person-centred, trauma-informed care to adults with complex needs is desirable.
• Commitment to continuous learning and collaborative service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred, strengths-based support to adults with care and support needs.
• Address complex cases and promote independence and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with Adult Social Care and partner agencies for coordinated outcomes.
