Are you a compassionate Dietitian with experience working with people with mental illness? Join Thornford Park as a Specialist Dietitian.
As a Specialist Dietitian, you will support service users within the hospital’s secure mental health and learning disabilities services with a range of conditions, working as part of a uni-professional and multi-professional team.
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the dietetic service across the hospital, supporting the ongoing implementation of the Hospital’s Nutrition and Hydration Strategy, and helping enable people to make informed, healthier choices regarding eating and drinking.
With experience managing a caseload using both theoretical and practical knowledge, you will complete assessments, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes aligned with care plans.

Where you will be working:
You will work at Thornford Park, which includes medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats. The service provides a seamless care pathway supporting recovery and rehabilitation. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized assessments and treatment programs for males with mental illness, complex care needs, and personality disorders. Service users may have histories of offending or previous placement difficulties.
