Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, seeks compassionate staff to join our Complex Care team in Epsom. You will provide specialist care for a child with complex medical needs, supporting daily living and a range of social and sensory activities.

Experience with tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG feeding, suctioning and moving/handling is valued. A driver is required due to location; regular supervision and clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Experience in tracheostomy and PEG feeding care.
• Experience looking after a ventilated child.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience with Makaton or alternative communication methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist care for a child with complex medical needs.
• Support daily living and light domestic tasks.
• Engage in social and sensory activities including messy/water play, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, and discos.
• Follow an individualised care plan.
• Provide tracheostomy care, ventilation support, and PEG feeding.
• Assist with moving and handling due to spinal instability.
