Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 7/8a Specialist Clinical Psychologist for the OFFENDER Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway in Ardenleigh, Birmingham. The post is 0.8 WTE (30 hours per week) on a permanent, part-time basis within AFFIRM and the OPD service.

The role involves advanced psychological assessment, therapy, supervision, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to support individuals with complex needs in the criminal justice setting.

Qualifications

• British Psychological Society accredited Doctoral level training in clinical/forensic psychology.
• Eligibility for entry onto the Register of Chartered Psychologists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist psychological assessments and provide individual and group-based therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide supervision and training to psychology trainees and junior staff.
