Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) is recruiting a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to join the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team in the Huntingdonshire and Fenland area. The post is Band 8a and offers a salary of £57,528–£64,750 per annum.

The role involves complex assessments, psychological therapies for neurodevelopmental disorders, leadership within the team and collaboration with education and other agencies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level training in clinical psychology or related field.
• HCPC registration required.
• Experience supervising trainee clinicians is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist psychological assessments for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Lead and contribute to treatment planning and delivery across care settings.
• Offer specialist neuropsychology assessments and consultancy to professionals and families.
• Autonomously manage a clinical caseload within professional guidelines.
• Support audit, policy development and service improvement through research.
• Provide guidance to multidisciplinary teams and liaise with agencies.
