Job overview

Are you searching for your opportunity to progress in hospital pharmacy? Do you want to use your knowledge and experience to deliver excellent patient-centred care? We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated pharmacists to join our team at North Manchester General Hospital.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join our supportive team at NMGH - we are digitally advanced with our Hive EPR system across the Trust, and we offer the benefits of working in a large Trust whilst offering the friendly familiarity of a smaller hospital site.

You will work on a rotational basis across a range of clinical specialties, including opportunities in infectious diseases, critical care, paediatrics and neonatology, frailty and intermediate care, obstetrics and gynaecology, acute medicine, cardiology, respiratory, surgery and orthopaedics. You will also have the opportunity to spend time within the medicines information and antimicrobial stewardship teams. We offer a variety of education and development opportunities, from weekly learning at lunch sessions to supporting staff with postgraduate qualifications such as non-medical prescribing in accordance with the needs of the service.

We are well connected to Manchester City Centre, with bus and metrolink routes available. Please come and have a look around if you think that we could be your next step - we'd love to talk to you
