Job summary
NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a qualified Clinical Pharmacist to provide safe, effective, patient-centred specialist pharmaceutical care within designated clinical areas. You will communicate clearly with patients and staff to develop and implement care plans, contribute to medicines governance, and participate in research or audits as part of continuing professional development.

Qualifications
- Masters of Pharmacy Degree required
- Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Independent prescribing qualification or commitment to work towards
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centred specialist pharmaceutical care to patients in designated clinical areas.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, placing the patient at the centre of interactions.
- Assess pharmaceutical care needs and develop and action a care plan.
- Identify training needs and participate in CPD activities.
- Promote pharmacy services and contribute to the profession.
- Engage in research or audit within the specialist practice area.
