BNY seeks a Specialist, Client Operations Representative II in Manchester. The role focuses on cash reconciliation, loan and bond portfolio administration, and settlement-related fund flows within Corporate Trust.

You will liaise with external parties and support the Client Service Manager to ensure contracted duties are delivered. Ideal candidates have English fluency, an interest in financial services, and strong Excel and Office skills.

Qualifications

Fluency in English is required to interact with clients and internal teams.
Interest or background in financial services is preferred.
Finance-focused education is an advantage, but graduates of all degrees are welcome.
Strong PC literacy with emphasis on Excel and Office tools.

Responsibilities

Reconcile cash for client operating accounts and monitor fund movements.
Administer loan and bond portfolios within Corporate Trust.
Track receipts and disbursements through settlement cycles.
Execute funds transfers between accounts and report to managers.
Communicate with external parties including loan agents and auditors.
Support Client Service Manager in contracted duties and projects.

Job Description

We’re seeking a future team member for the role ofLoans Administrator and Data Analystto join ourCorporate Trustteam. This role is located inManchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Cash reconciliation of client operating accounts
Administration of loan and bond portfolios
Monitor receipt and disbursement of funds through to settlement
Execute funds transfer from/to accounts
Regular communication with external parties, including but not limited to, the portfolio
manager, loan agents, trading counterparties, auditors, rating agencies
Act as a support to the Client Service Manager who has overall responsibility for ensuring that the duties as contracted are being provided by BNY
Participate in various projects such as new deal closings and any other projects as assigned

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Fluency in English
An interest in a career in financial services
Finance university background or similar field will be an advantage, however we equally welcome graduates of all degrees
Proactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to consistently meet deadlines
PC literacy, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Previous experience in finance / banking area will be an asset
