Job summary

NSS Group is seeking a Specialist Cleaning Operative to join our NSS Cleaning division. You will travel to supermarkets and petrol forecourts within your region to perform high-level cleaning tasks, including MEWP operation with training provided.

This role is predominantly out of hours and involves working in a small team to deliver safe, high-quality results. Full training is provided, and you can progress within NSS.

Qualifications

• Hardworking with a can-do attitude.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work alone and in a team.
• Full driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Travel to supermarkets/petrol forecourts to perform specialist cleaning.
• Follow a scheduled postcode-based programme.
• Interact with building managers and on-site staff to ensure smooth delivery.
• Operate MEWPs and access platforms (training provided).
• Predominantly out of hours work to avoid disrupting trade.
• Work in a team of two or more; may include weekend shifts.
• Adhere to NSS Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Specialist Cleaning Operative at NSS Group (Cleaning)

40 hours

£12.77 per hour

(No experience necessary, full training will be provided)

Responsibilities of the role:

• To travel to various supermarkets/petrol forecourt locations within your region to deliver specialist cleaning activity such as high-level window cleaning, cladding cleaning, petrol forecourt cleaning and jet washing.

• To follow a programme of work that is scheduled around the postcode in which you live

• You will be required to interact with building managers and on-site staff to ensure smooth delivery of works

• You will be required to operate MEWPs, and other access platforms. (Training provided if not qualified)

• Predominantly out of hours working to avoid disrupting trade.

• You will be working in a team of two or more

• You may be required to work weekends

• Adhering to NSS Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Lone working operatives deliver only low-risk tasks, with two or more people required for MEWP working, cradle works and anything above 3 metres.
