An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced individual to become a pivotal part of our innovative and friendly team, serving the diverse communities of the City of London and Hackney,
The Hackney Ark Children’s Physiotherapy Team is a forward thinking service committed to working towards supporting children with disabilities and their families to help them realise their potential so they can participate and play in their own environment.
The team consists of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and we work closely with Speech & Language Therapists, Dieticians, CAMHS, Keyworking, Community nursing team and Paediatricians. In addition, the team is supported by physiotherapy assistants and administrators.
This post would suit an individual wishing to develop their clinical skills in Children’s Physiotherapy across a variety of areas including, Orthotics, Special schools, MSK, Universal and the Neonatal unit.

Therapy intervention is goal led, client-centred and flexible. Interventions may be delivered across a variety of settings: Hackney Ark (The Child Development and Disability Service), Homerton hospital, Early Years settings, community settings, nurseries, mainstream and special schools as well as in clients’ homes.
The postholder will be responsible for a varied caseload of clients aged 0-19 with a range of MSK and physical disabilities combined with a specialist area as part of the internal Band 6 rotations. These include
