Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Specialist Cardiac Physiologist for the Cardio-respiratory Department. You will provide hands-on provision across the full range of cardiac investigations and support advanced echo techniques including stress and contrast echo, while performing/reporting routine TTE.

The post requires BSE accreditation or working towards it, with experience in ECG interpretation, Holter analysis, and involvement in CPEX and diagnostic

Qualifications

• BSc in Healthcare Science or equivalent.
• Full or written BSE accreditation.
• Experience performing and interpreting echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and ensure echocardiography provision with accreditation.
• Performs advanced diagnostic cardiac physiological testing to aid diagnosis.
• Interpret results and provide reports for specialised investigations.
• Communicate outcomes to clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Assist in implementing departmental strategies for service development.
