Job summary

Beacon provides one-to-one support for students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions in higher education. You will work with an Individual Learning Plan to help learners develop strategies that improve study skills and become independent learners.

Experience with ASC and higher education, a degree, teaching qualification for Study Skills ASC, and CPD participation are preferred. NAS/Autism training and access to assistive technologies are valued; £36 per hour freelance/self-employed contract as of

Qualifications

• Experience working with ASC in 1:1 settings.
• Proven ability to develop ILPs for ASC learners.
• Face-to-face support willingness and reliability.
• CPD participation and training in ASC teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one ASC support in higher education.
• Develop and implement Individual Learning Plans.
• Facilitate learning strategies to build study skills.
• Attend induction training and ongoing CPD events.
• Meet students face-to-face as required for support.
