Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Wigan. The role is 5-15 hours per week with start date October 2026 and ongoing duration.

You will deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs in a supportive learning environment. You should have experience with children or young people, a teaching qualification or tutoring background, and be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND.
• Patient, adaptable and encouraging approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.
