Job summary

Join a leading NHS teaching trust as a Specialised Clinical Physiologist. This busy department has a vacancy for a band 6 Specialised Clinical Physiologist. The department offers a wide range of specialist investigations including Adult and Paediatric Routine and Sleep EEGs, Video Telemetry, Home studies, Multi-modality Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conduction Studies and Polysomnography.

Main duties of the job

We anticipate that the successful candidate will specialise in Adult and Paediatric recordings including; Neonates/Infants,

In-house training to acquire the knowledge of departmental protocols in these techniques will be provided.

Training and assessment skills are desirable.

Applicants must be RCCP registered and should possess a BSc in Clinical physiology or other appropriate qualifications.

Provides a comprehensive regional Clinical Neurophysiological Investigative service to patients of all ages from a large range of specialties suffering from a wide variety of medical disorders including those which may be neurological and/or psychiatric in nature. Please see job description.

Essential & Desirable

• Must have RCCP registration or equivalent
• Adult and Paediatric EEG experience (including neonates and sleep studies)
• Student Training abilities
• NCS and Evoked Potential experience
