Job summary

YARNS MART is seeking a committed Special Support Officer to assist pupils with behavioural and emotional challenges in a special school setting. Ideal candidates will have experience with Additional Learning Needs and the ability to communicate in Welsh. The position offers a salary of £20,843 - £21,530 annually and is term-time based.

Term Time

An enthusiastic, motivated and committed person is required by the Governing Body of Ysgol Bryn Castell to support pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties including Autism alongside other Additional Learning Needs (ALN) as a Special Support Officer within a special school environment.

Some experience of working with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), particularly pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social difficulties (BESD) including Autism across both the primary and secondary phase would be advantageous.
