Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy invites applications for a Special Support Assistant on a maternity cover basis. You will join a warm, welcoming team at a 4–11 age range school, with full training provided to support children with diverse needs.
Experience in a primary setting is preferred; you will work with professionals to meet physical, medical, sensory and emotional needs, and contribute to a nurturing learning environment.

We are offering the opportunity to join our friendly and dedicated team in our warm and welcoming school as a Special Support Assistant for a period of maternity cover.
Experience of working with children of a similar need is always preferable, but not essential, and full training will always be given. We offer excellent support to our staff, ensuring that all get the additional support and training they need and opportunities to build upon their experience. As one of our Special Support Assistants, you will be working with a supportive and experienced team who work collaboratively with professionals from a wide range of backgrounds to meet the physical, medical, sensory and emotional needs of our children.
