Job summary

Ormiston Academies Trust is seeking staff to support children with complex needs in a school serving ages 3–16. Full training will be provided and excellent support is offered to develop your experience and career.

You will work in a warm, inclusive environment with opportunities to collaborate across a trusted network of professionals and to access extensive professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Pastoral responsibility for a class group
  • Leading a small team of support staff within the class
  • Collaboration with multi-agency staff
  • Providing personalised learning to suit our wide variety of learners
  • Potentially leading a curriculum area across the school

Job description

Experience of working with children of a similar need is always preferable, but not essential, and full training will always be given. We offer excellent support to our staff, ensuring that all get the additional support and training they need and opportunities to build upon their experience.

Our school caters for children from 3 to 16 with complex physical, medical and sensory needs. We have an evolving school population of 100+ pupils with ever more complex needs.
