Epinay School, supported by South Tyneside Council, seeks an innovative Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team across KS1–KS5 in a special school. You will design and deliver sensory, motor and functional strategies to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and thrive.

This role offers term-time hours (2 or 3 days) with a pro rata salary of £43,149, rewarding teamwork and ongoing professional development within a high-achieving setting.

Competenze

• Be a fully qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience working in a school or paediatric SEND setting.
• Experience planning and delivering 1:1 interventions and small group activities.
• Ability to design OT programmes for classroom embedding and staff training.

Mansioni

• Deliver targeted OT interventions (1:1 and small groups) tailored to EHCP outcomes.
• Embed OT into everyday classroom routines with practical programmes.
• Lead training sessions and guidance for staff on sensory processing and regulation techniques.
• Collaborate with SEND team and families to support pupils with complex needs.
